Bit Universe

Build a town. Grow an empire across ten worlds.

Grow a tiny voxel town into an economy that spans the solar system. Build and upgrade neighborhoods, open new districts, buy cars and planes, research technology and trade between worlds in a relaxed idle city builder that keeps earning while you are away.

The game

You start with one small town on Earth, ten coins and an empty lot. Ten worlds, ending on Triton, with 100 hand-made colony maps between them. Each colony runs its own economy: build, upgrade, move goods with vehicles, and unlock the next world. 41 achievements track the way through. Offline earnings accrue for up to 48 hours.

Release

Coming soon to iPhone and iPad, PC via Steam, and VR. Release dates and the supported headsets will be announced on bit-universe.net, where the worlds overview and the player guide already live.

Elsewake: the survivor crossing a meadow toward the lake, with faceted peaks beyond
02 · Open-world survival · Desktop

Elsewake

Rebuild a homestead where other histories break through.

The lakes country went quiet in a week, and now it leaks into other histories. Scavenge a 10 km world, rebuild a homestead one salvaged part at a time, and at night creep into rooms from a world that went differently. Quietly, or they tear and something steps out.

What is built

The world streams in around you and persists between sessions, so a homestead you build is still standing when you return. Scavenging, building, the day and night cycle, towns, an airfield, a hospital and a prison are in the current build. Co-op is experimental and host-authoritative: one player runs the world, others join it.

What is next

The Wake, the rooms from another history, and what steps out of them when they tear. Captures on this page are from the current development build, October 28, 2026.

Non-Euclidean Neon Arena: a dodgeball match on the Mobius court
03 · Impossible-space sport · Windows, macOS, Linux

Non-Euclidean Neon Arena

An impossible-space sport.

Dodgeball, Laser Tag and Tracer in nightclubs whose rooms do not fit together. Build a little robot, boost through a doorway that should not exist, and land a shot that came from nowhere. Play against bots, in four-player split screen, or with Steam friends.

Sport in rooms that do not fit together

Every court is a nightclub with an impossible trick in it. A shed holds a forty-metre shaft. A glass box is longer inside than out. A landing door opens onto the foot of its own stairs. A cube has six floors and a weightless middle. Learning the geometry is as much of the game as aim and timing.

What is built

Three sports across sixteen courts, a nine-court quick-play rotation, power-up pads, a court editor, a final whistle and podium, and a 26-song catalog. Desktop packaging for Windows, macOS and Linux shares keyboard, controller and touch input paths. Captures on this page are from builds 0.53.4 and 0.54.

Ram Ramp: a near-miss streak past a rolling boulder
Ram Ramp: smashing into THE BIG ONE junk pile
Ram Ramp: the title screen with today's missions
04 · Endless arcade · iPhone, Windows

Ram Ramp

Brake at the edge. How far down can you go?

An arcade game for kids about a ram, a pickup with a ramp, and a very tall hill. Brake at the edge, launch the ram off the truck, and see how far down the slope it can go.

The endless drop

The slope never ends. It gets steeper and busier the further you go, from meadow to canyon to snow, and from the third run an avalanche chases you down. Rocks wipe you out unless you steer round them or tap BOOST to smash through. Slaloms, narrow chutes and forks with a risky way and a safe way give each stretch something to read, and near-miss streaks pay coins and a slipstream kick. About 730 m down, THE BIG ONE junk pile waits to be smashed.

Missions and ranks

Missions work like Jetpack Joyride's: three at a time, tracked live, replaced as you finish them. Distance and missions earn XP toward ranks that raise the score multiplier, and the first drop each day earns double XP. The garage holds upgrades, rider looks and truck finishes.

What is built

Version 0.16 is archived for iOS and running on iPhone, with test builds going out through TestFlight and a Windows build alongside. Captures on this page are from the 0.16 endless-drop build.

Scriptlands: the player at a stone ruin with chests to loot
05 · Survival automation · Desktop

Scriptlands

Survive, build a factory, and program every machine.

A third-person voxel survival and automation game where programming is part of the technology progression. Mine, craft, and explore, then connect machines, pipes, power, and signals with scripts written in a Python subset.

Programming as progression

Early machines run on their own. Later ones expose inputs, outputs and signals, and the in-game editor lets you write the logic that ties them together: quarries, pipe networks, signal nets and robot fleets. The interpreter is custom-built for the game, so scripts run safely inside the simulation and errors show up where you can see them.

What is built

The playable slice covers mining, crafting, exploration, the first tiers of machines, the script editor and robot fleets. Six enemy types, from cave crawlers to shellbacks, now roam the world. Co-op works over direct IP on a custom TCP protocol. Captures on this page are from the current build, October 28, 2026.
